I agree with Tufts University on banning sex in the dorm rooms while room mate is present because its disgusting and disrespectful. I don't believe that anyone should have sex in the from of another person. If that's the case, go have sex in a public park on a bench. Some may not have a problem with their room mate having sex while they're in the room but everyone doesn't feel that is it appropriate, so the school has to be fair by banning sex in the dorm rooms.

Everyone deserves respect and since some people can not understand that,so if any sexual activity is discovered, the persons should suffer the consequences.

To Fry...or Not To Fry?

I agree the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment. I feel that just because one killed another doesn't man that they should be put to death. They have to live with killing someone for the rest of their life, whether one feels guilty or not, they still have to deal with it for the rest of their life.


In my opinion, since i am very religious, The person that commits the crime of killing someone has to deal with someone higher than man. So who has the say so if one should live or not? That person will suffer in the long run so why stress the death penalty. Being imprisoned for life is the rightful punishment. I dont feel that somemones life should be taken away because they took a life.

Wow...Kanye West...and not to much on Obama...

Well seems like Kayne is back at it again...When you think about the MTV VMA's you should be wondering who is the best music artist out there, not who is going to embarrass who. Kayne publicly humiliated young artist Taylor Swift after winning the best female video award, which was very wrong of him and the media has every right to blame him for what he did. It was childish and uncalled for. But Kayne was only expressing his freedom of speech by telling everyone on national television, "Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you , I'm going to let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time...one of the best of all time!"


President Obama made a comment about the situation with Kayne and called Kayne a "JACKASS" which was over heard by someone. The media blew that out of portion, even though Obama should have know better to say such a thing, but he just voiced his opinion. I agree with Carter, the only reason the media is always on Obama is because he is black but then again the media has picked on all Presidents.

Obama's Education Speech

President Obama education speech was very encouraging. He explained the importance of receiving a good education and no one is responsible for the choices they make in school but themselves. Obama gave a personal experience of how his mother was a single parent and she could not send him to school with other children because she couldn't afford it, so she would wake up very earlier in the morning to teach him. He told how he went through hard times and never gave up, so whatever the situation is, its no excuse not to do your homework. The speech was very inspiring, it made me look at my performance in school and why couldn't i do better? I've changed my views on my education and realized that its more important then anything. President Obama gave a great lecture and hopefully changed the outlook of education for many students in America.

Is the Constitution really as useful as we as citizens are led to believe?

The Constitution is very useful because its used in everyday life. To maintain a well governed society it is taken into effect. The bill of rights is included into the Constitution which gives Americans unalienable rights. Without The Constitution America would be an autocracy rather than a democracy. So as many years has centuries has passed, the Constitution has protected citizens and hopefully never fail.
